Roger L. Tomberlin, MCJ, MSM

​

Roger L. Tomberlin is a 30+ year veteran in law enforcement serving 28 years as a

Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He currently holds a Master of Arts degree in Security Management and another Masters in WMD/Criminal Justice.  Roger’s first assignment in the FBI was the Salt Lake City, Utah field office where his area of responsibilities ranged from investigations on Indian reservations to developing one of the first national fugitive sting operations.  He was an operating member of the FBI’s SWAT team and a Tactical Emergency Medical Technician.

 

Roger continued his law enforcement career investigating La Cosa Nostra in Chicago, Illinois.  These multifaceted and long-term investigations gave him the ability and knowledge to organize and investigate complex matters.  From 2001 until his retirement in 2015 his duties included International Terrorism, Domestic Terrorism, and the Weapons of Mass Destruction.  Roger ensured National initiatives were adhered to and properly managed in the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive arenas.  Roger traveled extensively over-seas to assist foreign law enforcement agencies and US Ambassador’s with positive liaison with foreign law enforcement and military officials.  Roger was a Bureau Adjunct Professor for National Security matters, Terrorism, WMD, and Intelligence issues. Roger was a Facilitator for  University of Phoenix and Tulane University. Roger was a National Security Advisor/ Senior Instructor for CSRA/General Dynamics.

 

Roger is the recipient of many outstanding achievement awards and has published several papers in the National Security and Maritime Terrorism fields, to include a section in the book “Modern Piracy and Maritime Terrorism”.

Michael Aertker, MSA, MBA, CPP

Mr. Aertker has experience as a police officer for over 12 years prior to starting his own consulting company.  During this time, he surveilled and collected intelligence on domestic terrorist groups that threatened critical US infrastructure.  Mr. Aertker’s experience as an engineer and senior administrator of a complex organization qualifies him to specialize in technical and corporate investigations in addition to more standard investigations.  Additionally, he has extensive experience with biosecurity and security operations and has provided consulting services to the US government, school systems, private companies and major government contractors and has lectured on these topics globally.  He has been a member of Louisiana Infragard for nearly 20 years and is currently an officer in the organization.  Mr. Aertker holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in engineering and a Master of Business Administration (Finance), all from Tulane University.  He is also board certified in security management as a Certified Protection Professional from ASIS International.
